The third Vietnam Development Forum (VDF) will be held in the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS), Tokyo, on June 2 to discuss the initiatives for Vietnam’s socio-economic development.

The forum will be attended by Japanese and Vietnamese experts in sociology and economics.

It will collect and review analyses by these scholars to compile books on Vietnam’s current and future socio-economic situation. The books will be published in both Vietnam and Japan.

This year’s forum will be hosted by GRIPS Professor Kenichi Ohno, who is also director of VDF’s research centre.
