Eight Vietnamese specialties set Asian record

(VOV) -The Asian Record’s Organisation has recognized eight Vietnamese specialties to set new Asian records.

The record winners are specialty gifts that feature typical traditional values of different localities in Vietnam.

They include Banh Dau Xanh (green bean cake of northern Hai Duong province), Che Thai Nguyen (green tea from northern Thai Nguyen province), Que Tra Bong (cinnamon from central Quang Ngai province), Sam Ngoc Linh (ginseng from the Central Highlands), Ca phe Buon Ma Thuot (coffee from the central highland Dak Lak province), Banh trang phoi suong Trang Bang (rice paper from southern Tay Ninh province), Banh phong sua dua (coconut milk crackers), and Tieu Phu Quoc (pepper from Phu Quoc island in southern Kien Giang province).

The Vietnam Record Organisation had made profiles on these specialty gifts in a bid to introduce Vietnamese values through dishes and agricultural products.
