The Vietnamese Government has allowed the south-central province of Khanh Hoa to host Miss World 2010 in Nha Trang City, according to a report from the Government Office on September 30.
The Government Office has authorized the Khanh Hoa provincial People’s Committee to work with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Public Security and the RAAS Company to organise the pageant safely in line with Vietnamese laws and international regulations.
General Director of the RAAS Company, Hoang Kieu, and President of the Miss World Organisation (MWO), Julia Morley, signed a memorandum of understanding on organizing the contest in Ho Chi Minh City in July.
Vice Chairman of the Khanh Hoa provincial People’s Committee, Le Xuan Than, said that provincial leaders will work with the MWO and the RAAS Company to discuss ideas about how to organise the great cultural event.
