The Hai Duong team won the champion title for the primary school children’s event while the championship went to the Dong Thap team in the event for lower secondary school pupils.

In addition to the champion titles, and the runners-up, there will be prizes for the best goal keeper, the best player and the player who scored the most goals.

In order to take part in this year’s event, 32 teams had to play in qualifying rounds in April and May.

The annual event is aimed at providing school children with a playground and selecting talented footballers for the national squad in preparation for the upcoming ASEAN sports festivals.
