Present were Professor Dr Vu Van Hien, member of the Party Central Committee, and Director General of VOV; Nguyen Chu Nhac, president of the VOV chapter of the Vietnam Journalists Association; and Ha Minh Hue, Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association and representatives of many press agencies.

The VOV currently has nearly 500 journalists working both inside and outside the country, who have taken the lead in many social and professional activities, and have won many national journalism awards.

Director General Vu Van Hien reaffirmed the importance of journalists in the new era and applauded the great efforts made by VOV journalists in recent years.

Mr Hue thanked the VOV leadership for the reception, saying he highly valued the contributions made by VOV journalists to the association’s activities.
