An education centre has pledged to grant 3,000 scholarships worth VND4.5 billion in total for disabled children and orphans in Hanoi.

An agreement to this effect was signed in Hanoi on June 15 by the Vietnam Association of Sponsors for the Disabled and Orphans and the London English Education Centre.

The scholarships will be presented to the beneficiaries over a period of five years, starting 2007, to help them study English and information technology.
