VOVNews is a useful channel of VOV

VOVNews online newspaper under Radio the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) hosted a conference for its freelancers in Hanoi on June 17 to mark the 86th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21).
In her speech, VOVNews Editor-in-chief Vu Bich Ngoc praised the effective cooperation from the freelancers over the years which, she said, has helped improve the quality of the newspaper.
Established on February 3, 1999, VOVNews is considered a prestigious newspaper among online newspapers in Vietnam. To boost its future development, VOVNews has been coordinating with a huge contingent of stringers from all over the country.
The stringers expressed their happiness about coordinating with VOVNews, saying sharing information regularly with the newspaper means VOVNews can satisfy the readers’ demand for timely, useful and reliable information.
VOV Deputy General Director Vu Hai asked all VOVNews staff to make greater efforts in providing readers with up-to-date and official information, the main part of VOV- the only media agency in Vietnam which broadcasts news in four communications media.
Mr Hai also suggested VOVNews should consider broadcasting foreign programmes in German, Japanese and French in the near future.
