French conductor to perform at Hanoi Opera House

VOV.VN - A concert performance by French conductor Nathalie Marin and the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra will take place at the Hanoi Opera House on December 15.

They will perform classical pieces written by Finnish composer Jean Sibelius and French pianist Georges Bizet.

French conductor Nathalie Marin and the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra will also introduce a new piano composition titled “Une journée à Ciboure” which was written by French composer Eric Dartel earlier this year. 

Nathalie Marin worked as artistic director of the Ecuador National Symphony Orchestra from 1991-2010, and for the Pestacles Festival in Paris during 2006-2008. She has been invited to conduct many orchestras all over the world.

She is currently a music director of the Mersin State Opera and Ballet in Turkey.
