Truong Thi May to compete in Miss Universe
(VOV) - The Performing Arts Department has permitted Truong Thi May - first runner-up of Miss Vietnam Ethnic 2007 to take part in the Miss Universe 2013 pageant.
She was also the former runner-up in Miss Vietnam Photogenic 2006 pageant.
May was appointed twice to represent Vietnam at the 2009 and 2011 Miss Earth pageants but unfortunately missed both opportunities due to her busy work schedule and private reasons.
Truong Thi May has been selected by Unicorp, the license holder of the Miss Universe Organisation in Vietnam, to represent the country in the upcoming Miss Universe 2013 pageant.
The stunning 25-year-old who is 1.73m tall, will fly to Russia on October 15.
The final round of Miss Universe 2013 pageant will be held in Crocus City Hall in Moscow on November 9.
