Vietnamese corner impresses at Friendship House during Army Games 2019

VOV.VN - An ethnic cultural festival being held as part of the ongoing Army Games 2019 in Russia has seen countries worldwide taking part, with Vietnam also participating through setting up their own booth with traditional local items on display.

The country’s representatives enjoy a cultural exchange with foreign teams in Friendship House.

A delegation from the Vietnam People’s Army (VPA) has sent eight members to the event, including setting up an exhibition in Friendship House which is being held from August 3 to August 17.

The aim is to create a cultural space, boost friendship exchanges, and deepen mutual understanding among countries from across the globe.

During the exhibition, a range of art performances and cultural exchanges have also been taking place in Friendship House.

On display in the Vietnamese booth are the typical items belonging to the VPA, in addition to images and video clips that showcase the creativity and ingenuity of the VPA in wars of national resistance wars against foreign invaders. The Vietnamese corner also displays the VPA’s development and achievements during peacetime.

The items on display help international guests learn more about the heroic traditions of the VPA.
The nation’s representatives take part in various activities aimed at boosting friendship with other foreign countries and creating positive images of the country in the minds of international friends.
