With permission from the Vietnamese government, a fleet of Japanese defence ships, including mine-clearing ships, docked at Tien Sa port in the central city of Danang on September 17, bringing ashore 174 naval officers and sailors.
Within the framework of the friendly visit to Vietnam, the Japanese officers and sailors will meet with Danang city authorities, the Military Zone 5 Command, the Third Naval Zone, and visit some Vietnamese navy ships.
