Bach Mai Hospital gets medical equipment from US
(VOV) - Bach Mai Hospital received nearly 43 tonnes of medical equipment worth VND20 billion donated by US organizations and individuals.
Professor Carl Edwin Bartecchi said he has spent five years encouraging American organizations and individuals to donate money and medical equipment to Vietnam and had to charter a special aircraft to carry the equipment to Hanoi.
Over the years, with assistance from Professor Bartecchi, many experts have come from the US Saint Anthony to give lectures and transfer new technologies to doctors and nurses at Bach Mai Hospital.
