Construction of Hoa Binh Hospital’s polyclinic's high-tech area, funded by the Japanese Government, started in the northern province of Hoa Binh on April 16.

Japan's nearly 967 billion Yen non-refundable aid will be used for consultancy, construction and medical equipment for the building.

The three-floor building, scheduled for completion in late February 2007, will include operation room, recovery room and obstetric paediatric ward.

With 400 beds, Hoa Binh Hospital will help reduce the overloaded situation at central hospitals.
