The southcentral province of Binh Thuan has discovered a ninth century relic of the Cham people, said Nguyen Xuan Ly, director of the provincial museum.

The stone item features the Linga and Yoni fertility symbols. The 35cm square base is 7cm high and is made of dark green stone.

Farmers in Ham Thuan Nam district’s Muong Man commune found the stone artefact while planting dragon fruit trees.
