Nine crewmembers including a Vietnamese naval pilot on a Cambodian ship, which sank offshore southern Tien Giang province, were rescued and brought ashore safely on January 10 by the Vietnam Centre for Maritime Search and Navigation Rescue.


Cambodia
's Mekong Express Ship was on its way from Sai Gon port to Cambodia. The accident happened in Cua Tieu sea area on January 9 as sea water was seeping into the ship's hull.
