The Prime Minister has recently approved a ten-year project to eradicate destructive types of marriage among ethnic communities.
The project targets to reduce early marriages by 3% annually and marriage among people of the same direct blood line or among relatives within three generations by between 3% and 5%.
To realise these goals, the project will launch a substantial number of public awareness-raising and educational campaigns and train more than 90% of participating officials in ethnic and socio-cultural affairs.
