Vietnamese travel agencies will attend an international tourism fair in Paris from March 15-18 to introduce the country's tourism attraction, according to the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT).

The Vietnamese agencies hope to exchange information and seek cooperation with their European partners at the annual Salon Mondial Tourism fair in the hope of attracting more French holidaymakers to Vietnam.

According to VNAT, the number of French tourists coming to Vietnam reached just 74,600 in the first seven months of 2006, representing a modest increase of two percent over the same period of 2005.
