Vietnam tourism introduced in Italy

(VOV) - A large number of Italian tourism businesses and agents attended a seminar on Vietnamese tourism held by Vietnam Airlines in Italy on September 11.

Vietnam Airlines representatives presented incentives for Italian partners when conducting tours of Vietnam flying Vietnam Airlines flights from the EU. Currently, the airline does not have direct flights from Italy to Vietnam so Italian passengers can use flights from Milan and Rome via Paris and Frankfurt to Vietnam.

On this occasion, the airline introduced major tourist attractions in Vietnam, such as Ha Long Bay, Danang, Nha Trang, Phan Thiet-Mui Ne, Hoi An, Con Dao (Poulo Condor) and some other Southeast Asian cities that it has direct flights to like Yangon (Myanmar), Vientiane (Laos), and Phnom Penh (Cambodia).

Last year, more than 50,000 Italian visitors came to Vietnam, a year-on-year increase of 10%.

The seminar is part of activities within the framework of the “Vietnam Culture Week” in Rome, which started with a photo exhibition on Vietnam by photographer Paolo Belletti on September 10 and ends with a fashion show by designers Minh Hanh, Vu Cong Khanh and Quang Nhat on September 17.
