Acrobats win silver at Int’l Circus Festival
(VOV) - Acrobats from the Ho Chi Minh Circus Troupe won a silver medal and the most favourite award at the Golden Circus Festival, held on December 21 to January 14 in Rome according to Vu Ngoan Hop, head of the circus troupe.
Hop said a performance entitled ‘Lăn vòng nghệ thuật - Chiến binh dũng cảm’ (Brave warrior) by artists Nguyen Duc Thanh, Tran Hong Hao, Phan Van Chien and Nguyen Duc Tai earned the silver medal.
The most favourite award went to artists Duc Thanh and Ngo Tuyet Hoan for their performance of ‘Quay khung nghệ thuật’ (Art frame).
The 32nd circus festival drew the participation of artists from 12 countries and territories around the globe. A six member Vietnamese delegation participated in the festival, while Hop worked as a jury member.
