PM hails Vietnam-Cambodia solidarity
VOV.VN - Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen’s ongoing visit to Vietnam is of great significance and a vivid manifestation of the Vietnam-Cambodia solidarity during the past struggles for national liberation and today’s national construction.
Prime Minister made the statement at a June 21 reception for his Cambodian counterpart Hun Sen in Binh Duong.
The Vietnamese government leader expressed his hope that the visit will create strong momentum for the traditional friendship and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries in line with the two peoples’ aspirations and contributing to peace, stability, and cooperation in the region.
Vietnam and Cambodia are celebrating the 50th anniversary of the establishment of bilateral diplomatic ties on June 24 and the Vietnam-Cambodia Friendship Year.
The same day, the Cambodian Prime Minister held talks with the people and officials of Binh Duong province, many of whom worked as volunteers in Cambodia.
