The Ministry of Health has presented “For People’s Health” insignia to two Japanese professors Hico Hyakusocku and Ritsu Aoki in recognition of their contributions to the Vietnamese health care sector.

Since 2000, prof. Hico Hyakusocku, a leading expert in minor-surgery and plastic surgery, associate. prof.  Ritsu Aoki and their colleagues have visited Vietnam seven times  to conduct complicated surgeries with Vietnamese doctors.

At the National Burns Institute, the two professors have transferred skills in minor surgery techniques to Vietnamese doctors, helping them conduct successfully minor surgeries on scars and patients suffering from breast cancer.
