More than 200 foreign-invested enterprises in the northern region and representatives from diplomatic agencies, international organizations and foreign business associations in Vietnam attended a seminar in Hanoi on March 23 to discuss issues related to foreign direct investment (FDI) and the implementation of the Competition Law.

Delegates focused on policies on competition such as denunciation procedure and business trading activities.

Director of the Vietnamese Ministry of Trade (MoT)’s Competition Administration Department, Dinh Thi My Loan, said the seminar aimed to provide FDI enterprises with detailed information about the Competition Law to ensure the full implementation of legal regulations on business operation and develop a healthy, competitive market economy in Vietnam.
