This is the first ecological symbol for sustainable development in Vietnam. According to the Vietnam Hotel Association, there will be 84 criteria to make the eco-label and these criteria will be based on those from Europe and Asia as well as globally.

The contest, which will take place from December 15-23, aims to promote green tourism and sustainable development in Vietnam. The VAT will announce the results and grant awards on December 28.
