PM Dung to attend climate change conference in Paris
(VOV) -Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung will attend the 21st Conference of the Parties (COP21) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change in Paris from November 30 and December 1st at the invitation of French President Francois Hollande.
PM Dung is also scheduled to visit Belgium and the European Union on December 2 as guest of his Belgian counterpart Charles Michel and European Commission President Jean-Claude Junker.
The visits are intended to bolster the cooperation between Vietnam and the European partners.
Vietnam and the 28-member EU established diplomatic relations in 1990 and it also set up strategic partnerships with six EU members, namely the UK, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, France and Italy.
