Overseas Vietnamese working in the Saudi Arabian capital of Riyadh have donated US$800 to the embassy to help flood victims in the central region of Vietnam.
The Vietnamese ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Dao Thanh Chung, expressed his gratitude to the kindhearted people and pledged to send the money to the victims as soon as possible.
Earlier, the embassy staff had contributed one day’s salary to support the flood victims.
