Military team triumph at national table tennis champs
Military team players shone at the National Table Tennis Championship, which concluded in the Central Highland province of Dak Lak on October 2.

In the men’s singles final, veteran Dinh Quang Linh of the Military beat Asian Games player Nguyen Duc Tuan of Hai Duong 4-1 (12-10, 11-9, 11-9, 8-11, 11-2) to take gold.
Tuan’s teammate Vu Quang Hien and Dinh Anh Hoang of T&T shared third place.
Meanwhile, another representative of Military team, Vu Thi Ha, beat young talent Nguyen Khoa Dieu Khanh of HCM City 4-1 (12-14, 11-5, 11-5, 11-4, 11-3) in the women’s singles final.
Pham Thi Thien Kim of Ministry of Public Security and Nguyen Bach Thanh Thu of HCM City earned bronze medals.
Earlier, the gold medal of men’s team category also went to the Military team.
The five-day event attracted more than 100 players from 10 of the best teams across the country.
