The Department of Food Safety and Hygiene, under the Ministry of Health, has implemented six urgent measures to ensure food safety and hygiene.


The measures include perfecting management and inspection systems on food safety and hygiene from the central to grass-root levels, increasing communications and raising awareness about food safety and hygiene among leaders, producers, businesses and customers.


The measures also aims to develop a contingent of collaborators at every precinct, commune and hamlet, diversify types of communications about food safety and hygiene, and socialize communications about food safety and hygiene in line with ethnic areas and geographic areas.
