Wonderful artworks on Danang’s sand beach

(VOV) - A competition on building sand art objects was held for the second time in the central city of Danang on July 28, attracting 300 young Vietnamese and foreign tourists.

The event aimed to express deep love for the sea and hometown and co-ordinated efforts to protect the sea environment.

The organizing board hopes that the event will become an annual activity to attract more tourists to Danang city.

The first competition held in May 2012 on the My Khe sand beach involved more than 100 participants from 70 teams including those from the US, UK, Australia, France and New Zealand.
