Senior legislator welcomes Uzbek procuracy leader
(VOV) - Vice Chairman of the national Assembly Uong Chu Luu received visiting Deputy Director of the Uzbek General Procuracy Khalimov Khakimbai Ashirovich in Hanoi on August 13.
Luu noted with satisfaction the dynamic development of Vietnam-Uzbekistan relations over the years, spanning economics, trade, science-technology and education, and expressed his belief that bilateral multifaceted cooperation will be further strengthened in the future.
He hailed the establishment of cooperative ties between the two countries’ procuracy agencies, which he said will create conditions for both sides to share professional experience to improve their operational efficiency.
Ashirovich said his delegation held talks with a delegation of the Vietnam Supreme People’s Procuracy, during which they signed a memorandum of understanding on human resource training for Vietnam and future cooperation orientations.
