Party anniversary marked in Egypt
(VOV) -Over the past year, the Vietnam Embassy in Egypt’s Party cell made significant contributions to promoting the ties of friendship and cooperation between the two nations.
On January 27, the Vietnam Embassy in Egypt hosted a solemn ceremony celebrating the 85th anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV), attended by representative agencies.
In his address, Vietnam Ambassador Dao Thanh Chung reviewed the process of formation and development, the tremendous achievements and the glorious tradition of the CPV during the past 85 years which has contributed to boosting national development on a par with the world powers.
Chung urged embassy staff to reinforce solidarity among the Party, and thoroughly grasp Party foreign guidelines to propel the friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Egypt forward.
Despite socio-political and security instabilities in Egypt, embassy staff have well performed ideological work and ensured security and safety of Vietnamese citizens studying and working in Egypt, Chung said.
