The European Union (EU) will impose normal tariff on a certain volume of Vietnamese leather shoes (about 95 million pairs) only. If the volume is greater, its new tax rate will be 29.5 percent.
The European Union (EU) will impose its new tax rate on some types of leather shoes for children imported from Vietnam and China, while sport shoes will be likely removed from its new tax list. EU experts said that the new tariff barrier will be effective in five years from the date of official announcement.
