On May 26, the Vietnamese delegation will hold a meeting under the theme ”An attractive destination and challenges of the Vietnamese market”.

A Vietnamese delegation led by Minister of Planning and Investment Vo Hong Phuc attended the 12th “The future of Asia” international conference, which opened in Tokyo, Japan, on May 25.

The conference, organised by Nihon Keizai, attracted leaders and senior officials from Asian countries.

Speaking at the conference, Malaysia Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi said the region is facing three important challenges – linkage, belief and implementation ability. He called for ending unfavourable trends in relations among countries and restoring links in order to not let bilateral differences block the process of establishing an “East Asian Community”.
