EVFTA opportunities for Vietnamese businesses
(VOV) - On October 26, Ho Chi Minh City hosted a seminar discussing future opportunities and challenges for local administrations and businesses as a result of the signing of the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA).
Those in attendance included Deputy Foreign Minister Le Hoai Trung, Ambassador and head of the EU delegation to Vietnam Bruno Angelet, and President of the European Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam Nicola Connoly.
European and Vietnamese experts proposed specific measures to increase the awareness and ability of local administrations and businesses, who will play a decisive role in implementing the agreement.
