Minister and Chairman of the National Sports and Physical Training Committee held a working session in Hanoi on February 22 with Wei Jizhong, head of Technical Department of the Asian Olympic Committee, to discuss plans to organise the 3^rd Asian Indoor Games in Vietnam in 2009.

The 3^rd Asian Indoor Games in Vietnam is schedule to have 16 events including aerobics, indoor footfall, dance sport, Sepak Takraw, track and field, diving, shuttle cock, archery, Silat, women’s Sanshou, boxing, bowling, dragon dance and billiards and snooker.

At the working session, Minister Thai invited Mr Jizhong to join the advisory board of the Asian Indoor Games 2009 and he accepted the invitation.
