Participants will compete in such events as swimming, football, volleyball, bodybuilding and handball.

In the first Asian Beach Games in Indonesia, Vietnam won two gold, five silver and three bronze medals, placing 8^th among 42 teams.

Vietnam is scheduled to host the 2016 Games in Nha Trang city in the south central province of Khanh Hoa.
