Ha Long Bay has made a long jump from 16th place to 3rd on the list of nominations for new seven natural wonders of the world, according to information updated on September 23 from the website www.new7wonders.com.
Since the world heritage site continuously went down in the list in recent time, the northern Quang Ninh province had to strengthen their promotion activities to curry more votes in its bid to make the bay become one of the world’s new seven natural wonders.
According to a latest announcement of the New Open World, the voting organiser, as of December 31, each country will be represented by only one site for the remaining rounds.
