Dept of Religious Affairs holds tribute in Ratchaburi

The Department of Religious Affairs organized a tribute paying ceremony for the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej at Wat Wapi Sutthawat in Ratchaburi province. 

The event, which was presided over by Deputy Culture Minister Chaweerat Kasetsoontorn, was held to allow people from all walks of life to express their gratitude to King Rama 9th for his commitment to the Thai people during his reign. 

Those attending the ceremony was encouraged to apply His Majesty’s sufficiency philosophy concept to their daily lives. They also had a chance to study the life of the late King and his contributions to the country through an exhibition at the temple. 

The participants also formed the Thai number nine during a candle procession in remembrance of the late King and sang the royal anthem.
