According to the organisers, domestic and foreign artists from Laos, Thailand, Myanmar, Cambodia and China will gather in the 3^rd “Trans-Asia bridge” arts and musical programme from July 25-30 in the province. 

As part of the event, exhibitions and international workshops to promote cooperation in investment, trade and tourism between Quang Tri and some localities of Laos, Thailand and nations in the East -West Corridor region will also be held. 

The organisers said the highlight of celebrations will be a ceremony reviewing the heroic traditions of the Vietnamese army and people nationwide in fighting to protect the ancient Quang Tri citadel during 81 days and nights in 1972. 

It is also to commemorate heroes and fallen soldiers who laid down their lives in the fierce battle for the national independence and freedom.
