Semi-trailer rips side off tour bus on National Highway 1
VOV.VN - A charter bus was involved in a serious crash Friday, September 1, on National Highway 1 in the district of Thu Duc in Ho Chi Minh City, local police officials told VOV reporters.

There were many passengers on board the bus.
They were en route on a multi-lane section of National Highway 1 at about 4pm when a semi-trailer travelling in the same direction sides wiped the bus, causing the buses left side to be ripped off.
The driver of the bus is in critical condition, the remaining passengers and operator of the semi-trailer are in good or fair condition.
The semi driver was ticketed for careless driving, said the police, and more charges are pending.
The accident snarled traffic in both directions for about three hours.
