VOV.VN - Effective defence cooperation between Vietnam and Japan, including the ties between the two ground forces, has made significant contributions to the bilateral friendship.

Sen. Lieut. Gen. Phan Van Giang, Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army (VPA), made the statement while receiving Chief of Staff of the Japan Ground Self-Defence Force Gen. Koji Yamazaki in Hanoi on January 8.
