Vietnam secured a berth in the final round of the Asian Women’s Football Championships 2010, after it crushed Hong Kong 7-0 in a Group C match on July 8.

Striker Ngoc Cham pulled off a hat trick for Vietnam and Van Thi Thanh scored two goals, while the two other goals were shot by Kim Chi and Nguyen Thi Muon.

Vietnam had previously defeated Kazakhstan 10-1 in the Group C opener, which was organised at the Thanh Long Sports Centre in Ho Chi Minh City four days ago.

With two wins, Vietnam topped Group C and took the sole ticket to the final round, which earlier welcomed five qualifiers - China , Japan , Australia , the Republic of Korea and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.
