Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai on December 15 attended a groundbreaking ceremony for a 59km road in Ngoc Linh commune, Dak Lai district in the Central Highland province of Kon Tum.
The total investment is estimated at VND1,364 billion sourced from Government bonds. The road is scheduled for completion in 2012.
The new road will be connected to the Ho Chi Minh highway, national highway no 24, South Quang Nam way, East Truong Son way and route 672 to accelerate the flow of traffic through localities.
At the ceremony, units involved in the project delivered VND20 million and 20 tonnes of rice to people in Ngoc Linh commune.
