Tak launches traditional music venture for community youth
The Cultural Council of Tak Province and relevant agencies in Thailand have jointly held a northern music training symposium for youths to enable them to spend their school break in a constructive manner
The training brings together renowned traditional music artists from different institutes in Tak and Chiang Mai who will teach youngsters and other music lovers how to play local music and perform local dances.
Manop Muangprao, a music artist, said he was happy to learn that various agencies value northern music and wish to inspire youngsters to follow suit. The four-day training camp is being held at Maneepraison Temple in Mae Sot District, Tak Province.
