Non-governmental organisation Path Canada has helped northern Bac Ninh province work to increase the role and responsibilities of men in reproductive health care and family life.

The project, which has been carried out in Que Vo and Tien Du districts and Bac Ninh town since 2005, aims to change men's attitude toward child rearing and education.  After one year of operation, the provincial centre for health education has disseminated information on safe sex for teenagers, especially unemployed teens, and created columns on happy families and youth clubs in the local mass media.

The center has contributed to changing men's attitude and ensuring gender equality in targeted areas.
