H’Hen Nie delivers Tet gifts to leprosy patients

VOV.VN - Miss Universe Vietnam 2017 H’Hen Nie brought Tet gifts to leprosy patients in Ben San Leprosy Centre in Binh Duong Province on February 6 ahead of the Lunar New Year festival.

The event is jointly organized by Grab Vietnam and Vnexpress online newspaper’s Hy Vong (Hope) Fund.
She left Ho Chi Minh City and arrived at Ben San Leprosy Centre in the early morning. Immediately after reaching the centre, she prepared her gifts for the patients.
H’Hen Nie met with more than 200 leprosy patients.
She holds a discussion with the leprosy patients in the centre. A patient sings a song as a special gift for Miss Universe Vietnam 2017.

H’Hen Nie burst into tears as she listened to the story of patient Pham Van Ly.
Ly said he has not been able to celebrate the Tet festival with his family for over 40 years, he was overjoyed when he received Tet gifts from the charity fund and felt the great care of society.
H’Hen Nie delivers presents of essential goods and food for the leprosy patients.
