Vietnam Days in Spain 2017 in photos

VOV.VN - The ‘Vietnam Days in Spain’ is taking place in Madrid with special cultural activities within a framework of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh’s visit to the European country to mark the 40thanniversary of diplomatic ties. 

The event was held by the Vietnamese Embassy in Spain.

Cultural and art performances and exhibitions leave deep impression on Spanish people.


Many Spanish visitors show their keen interest in the event.

‘My daughter works in Ho Chi Minh City and tells me that Vietnamese people are very friendly,’ says a visitor to the event.

Addressing the opening ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh emphasized that relations between Vietnam and Spain have constantly developed and flourished over the past 40 years.

In the mind of Vietnamese people, Spain is a beautiful country on the Mediterranean coast with joyful Flamenco dances and football banquets. 

Spain has effectively supported Vietnam in its development, poverty reduction, healthcare, clean water and climate change adaptation projects.

The Deputy PM said Vietnam famous landscape like Ha Long Bay, Hue, My Son Sanctuary, Son Doong Cave and beautiful beaches in Danang, Nha Trang and Phan Thiet are popular to many Spanish people.

Vietnam’s land and people become closer to Spanish through ‘Vietnam Days in Spain’.

An exhibition on Vietnam’s regional identities and traditional arts like Dong Ho painting, Dan Bau (monochord), and water puppetry was held during the event.
