Myanmar President’s spouse tours Hanoi

Myanmar President’s spouse Su Su Lwin took a tour to several renowned sites in Hanoi on October 26 on the occasion of the State visit to Vietnam of the Myanmar President. 

President Tran Dai Quang’s wife Nguyen Thi Hien introduced the Myanmar lady to the One-Pillar pagoda, Ngoc Son temple, and Hanoi’s Old Quarter. 

The same day, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc’s wife Tran Nguyet Thu guided the spouses of the heads of delegations to the 7th ACMECS summit and the 8th CLMV Summit around the Temple of Literature - the first university of Vietnam. 

Thu briefed the guests on the rich cultural traditions of Vietnam while highlighting the cultural similarity among the nations in the sub-Mekong region. 

She expressed her hope that the Mekong nations will promote their close and practical cooperation for peace and prosperity in the region. 

Host and guests enjoyed a traditional art performance and fashion show at the Temple.
