At the invitation of his Australian, Japanese and the Republic of Korea (RoK) counterparts, National Assembly (NA) Chairman Nguyen Phu Trong left Hanoi on March 9 for a tour of the three countries.

The Vietnamese NA delegation includes Chairman of the NA Committee for External Affairs Nguyen Van Son, Chairman of the NA Committee for Economic Affairs Ha Van Hien, Chairman of the NA Committee for Culture, Education, Youth and Children Dao Trong Thi, Chairwoman of the NA Committee for Social Affairs Truong Thi Mai, Director of the NA Office Tran Dinh Dan, NA Deputy and General Director of Radio Voice of Vietnam (VOV) Vu Van Hien, Head of the NA deputy delegation from Hanoi Ngo Thi Doan Thanh, Vice Chairman of the NA Committee for External Affairs Ngo Duc Manh, Head of the NA deputy delegation from southern Binh Phuoc province Vo Dinh Tuyen and General Secretary of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) Pham Gia Tuc.


Mr Trong is also being accompanied by the Vietnamese Ambassadors to Australia, Japan and the Republic of Korea along with representatives from 70 Vietnamese businesses.
