131 male and 88 female martial artists from 29 cities and provinces across the country took part in the Championships, which was held the south central province of Khanh Hoa on October 7.
The players competed in the men’s and women’s Kata (performance) and Kumite (fighting) events in the weight categories of men’s 50-84kg and women’s 44-68kg.
In the men’s Kata team event, Ho Chi Minh City beat Nghe An to come up against with Khanh Hoa in the final while in the women’s event, Dong Thap beat Nghe An 3-0.
In the men’s individual Kumnite at 75kg, Khanh Hoa defeated Bac Ninh and Dong Nai to face Da Nang in the final.
At the men’s 80kg in the same event, Thanh Hoa beat Binh Duong and Ho Chi Minh City to meet the Army Group, which defeated Dong Nai and Quang Nam.
