A pair of earthquakes hit Solomon Islands on Monday morning, and another struck the Philippines, according to the U.S. Geological Service.
The Solomon Islands experienced a 6.3-magnitude quake at 8:48a.m. (4:48p.m. Sunday ET), and another 7.2-magnitude tremor hit less than an hour later.
Another quake, with a magnitude of 5.3 on Richter scale, earlier hit the Philippines at 5:38a.m (4:38p.m. Sunday ET), near the eastern-most island of Mindanao.
No injuries or damages were immediately reported, and there was no official tsunami warning, said a disaster management official.
